Great futures start everyday at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry. The organization operates six (6) clubs in Beaufort and Jasper Counties. The three clubs in the Beaufort area are the Bridges Club, the Shanklin Club and the Sheldon Club. In southern Beaufort County, club members attend the Bluffton Club and the Hilton Head Island Club. Jasper's Club is located in Ridgeland in the former Jasper County High School. Over 2,200 members ages 6-18 years old belong to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry with over 600 attending on a daily basis.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry, and in every corner of the United States, is "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."
Together with our neighbors, business partners, United Way and other foundations and grants, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry operates a nearly $3 million dollar annual budget to invest in the futures of our community's children.
