Who We Are
The Jasper Club has deep roots in its community and is dedicated to providing its club members with programs to help them develop great futures. Tucked away in two wings of the former Jasper County High School, the Boys & Girls Club of Jasper provides a place where the children of the community come to enjoy their friends, receive academic tutoring and become involved in activities from sports teams to leadership development.Most people know the Boys & Girls Club offers a safe, secure and supervised place for kids while their parents work. However, many don't know the spectrum of stimulating programs offered to enhance every part of their members' lives. Members also regularly take field trips in their hometown as staff and guest speakers introduce members to Jasper County's natural resources, indigenous species and environment.
The Jasper Club has several dedicated rooms for activities such as: computers, media, art, dance/drama, snacks and games. The staff is especially proud of its teen members, for they choose to come to the Club to hang out with their friends, do their homework or develop supportive friendships with other club members and staff.
Staff members have adopted the theme song to the former "Cheers" television show as a way to describe the Club experience. It's a place "where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came."
